A lemony rawr- Double Refreshment

Last Friday, the Tiger Radler was launched!

〜( ̄▽ ̄〜)✿✿✿✿ (ノ ̄▽ ̄)ノ✿✿✿✿ (〜 ̄▽ ̄)〜
Tiger with natural lemon juice= double refreshment.
A drink much needed especially after a long week of tiring work.

I was so excited to be there!!
Thanks to the accident on Federal Highway,
I got there sliiightly later than expected.
Sigh.
But I didn't miss out on the fun!!

Other than having the chance to be there to witness the launch of a refreshing new drink,
we can get prizes too!!
It's not even hard.
Uploading selfies.
Talk about piece of cake.

Everywhere you turned, there's the blue and yellow representing Tiger Radler Double Refreshment.

One Buck Short and Kyoto Protocol were jamming like rockstars,
making chilling after work with Tiger Radler better.
There was a DJ live spinning too.
Have to say,
it was a great time to hang out with other bloggers and enjoy a good beer on a Friday.
#mydoublerefreshment

DJ Major doing his thing.

Hello!

I don't know why the colour turn out like that even before editing.
It looks ok on my phone and on the computer screen, but when I upload it to blogger, it turns out like that. Tsk.

Ok but at least this one with Miss Fluffy Furfer is ok.
Finally seen her after a very long time.

A great chillax session with my group of friends is much needed after a long week of boring 9 to 5 office life, and to make the hangout session better, we have the the real lemon juice in our beer.
*refresh mode activated*

They had photo booths with lots and lots of props to pose with
(for the I-don't-know-where-to-put-my-hands-when-taking-picture-people)
and polaroid girls there to help preserve the happy event.
Very thoughtful of the organizers.

I'm extra happy for the photo services because my phone's camera has become near-sighted.
All pictures had to be taken with Yat's phone.
.·´¯`(>▂<)´¯`·.

Group photo!!
Thanks to Jackie lol.

#mytigerradler

Cheers to double refresment and a great night with Tiger Radler!!
It has a strong lemony freshness with a zesty taste added to good old #TigerBeerMY.
I'm in love.

Laid-back weekend with sales

Oh the weekend started with a dash of freshness.
Went to the launch of a new range of beer with natural lemon juice.

It's definitely nice!!
Will blog about the event next!
Or maybe Friday.

Saturday and Sunday were really laid back.
I went over to the man's house  and we went out for a walk in Viva Mall.
XD

My eyeliner flick was so perfect that day I had to take a close up shot.
But not too close that I might scare people.
I'm considerate. Hehehe

I usually blend red and brown for the lower outer corner of my eyes.

We went to the Boston Cafe in Viva Mall,
and for the second time,
I'm amazed by how well the chicken chop was cooked.

I ordered the Wasabi Black pPepper Chicken Chop
Mushroom Soup + Garlic Bread

The chicken,
like the first time I ate there was cooked to perfection.
It was tender and juicy.
Not over-cooked.
Just nice.

The coleslaw was sour though.

Garlic bread went really well with the mushroom soup.
The mushroom soup was filled with mushroom shreds.
Every scoop promises a copious amount of mushroom and the soup was not too creamy nor too watery.
It was a good meal.

The man ordered Beef Hor Fun, which is char kuey teow with beef.
To me, ordering hawker food in anywhere other than a hawker stall is unacceptable.
#kindapenangkiaproblem

We even played Counter Strike at the arcade.
Nostalgic lol.
At first I looked around and didn't see the machine,
and my first reaction was:
What kind of arcade doesn't have Counter Strike!!
Then the man pointed at it.
Oh, ok. Hehehe.

There was a Guardian clearance sale from which I restocked on this Avene Thermal Spring Water.
This is RM10.
They have big ones for RM30 per bottle.
Not sure if it's still on though.
Sorry I'm not a helpful type of blogger.

After that we went to his cousin's house for dinner,
and then,
I went to The Big Bad Wolf sale for the very first time.

Didn't expect to go crazy because I'm really picky when it comes to books.
To me, the cover is just as important as the synopsis.
So I only got 5 books.
Prefer the mystery genre.

Sunday was laidback.
Was at the man's house.
We went out for lunch with his family,
watched some Hunter x Hunter,
and when we caught up on the downloads,
he went to work, and I started my journey with books I salvaged from the furry beast.

And I played with the green Revlon Grow Luscious Liner
which I bought from the Guardian sale.

And that's about how my weekend went.

*Pretending to be a book lover*

I'm looking forward to this weekend, mainly because:

Yep, I'M GOING!!!

It's happening this Saturday, 14 December
and where else better for such awesomeness than

Flirting with lashes

All the money I've spent on mascara is just to cheat myself that I can have long flirty lashes,
so when other bloggers started reviewing lash extension service at Pink Passion The Signature Salon,
I knew I had to try it out too.

After arranging with the shop owner, Maggie,
I made an appointment for 11am, 5th November.

I was the first customer of the day because the shop opens at 11am.

I was there early because I wanted to take pictures of the shop before my session started.
I waited outside for about 15 minutes and at 11am SHARP, a lady walked over and started to unlock the metal grill outside and "set up shop".

I walked in and explained that I'm the 11am appointment and the lady replied "I know".

So while she was going around turning on the lights and air-cond,
I snapped a few pictures.

There are 3 sizes for the extensions,
the 8mm, 10mm and 12mm.

Since this is my first extension, Rainie, the lash expert said we'll start with 8mm and 10mm.

My natural lashes.

In the process to super full lashes.

And after 45 minutes,
results!

After a few days.

The lashes are not obvious from the front when I open my eyes because I always have a thick liner on.
It looks nice with eyes closed though.

You can take your time blinking.

The shop was playing really soothing music all the while.
It was relaxing other than some mosquito bites on my legs.

Probably because I was the first customer.
You know, fresh blood.

If you want to try it out,
do make an appointment with them.
Contact information and address can all be found on their FB page.
Read reviews from other bloggers there too.

If you need more details about pricing and dos and don'ts, just ask them.

An afterthought of the entire lash extension experience coming soon.
Not sure when yet, but soon.

One post to cover them all- Movember

 Movember started with a bang!

Just kidding, not my car.
We saw this on the way back from Hennessy Artistry.

The only not-extremely blurry picture I took that whole night.
Sigh.
When it was dark, all the pictures look great.
The next morning- was I blind the whole night?
LOL

And for once, Mr Yat actually smiled at the camera.
He usually makes all sorts of weird faces.

Ok, first let's get all the selfies out of the way.

Pretending to be a teenage girl

 Red lips

New lipstick from Maybelline

 Red lips again.
Fav selfie of the month!
*cough cough*

Au naturel face at Urbanscapes.

Of course there are more.
I just want to post a few so that people know this is what I look like.

Then there are the outfit posts.
New kicks

 New white basic top

 All black outfit.
My nails actually have colourful glitter but not visible.

 Another basic top. I bought 2. =X
I like white tops because it's my lazy go-to.

Top from Milktee clothing.
Bought them really long ago but only wore it twice.

Cropped top with maxi skirt

Then comes the new products

Love this matte top coat.
It gives a new breath to the usual nail polish
Only problem is, it fades off really fast.

And then, there's food.
I'm trying to eat healthy.
Most frustrating situation I've encountered recently:
I've gained almost 5kg, most gone to my waist and some to the thighs..
When I say I've gained weight, everyone just goes "You're not fat".

Bitch I'm not saying I'm fat, I said I gained weight. FACT!
And trust me, I see my body more than you.
If I say I've become plumper, don't tell me I haven't.
I'm not asking for your opinion.

Another frustrating encounter:
You so skinny no need to eat healthy la.

Bitch what kinda logic is that?

So, even though I still eat oily food,
I try to take fruits with that.
And yogurt.

There was a surprise birthday celebration for Xi Voon,
but since it's a surprise, we couldn't rush her.
The whole meeting time was pushed back 2 hours because one problem came after another lol.
Susan was the mastermind behind this and they were suppose to just meet and have lunch.
We were all surprised, because one of our friend who went to study in Japan, Li Ee came back!!!
Everyone just went crazy for awhile there.

They kept our seats for really long, because they won't serve until everyone was there,
but in the end they let us in, because Li Ee who came alone,
have been waiting there for hours.

In the end I had to leave before the birthday girl arrived,
and luckily I saw her right when I was getting into my car.

Pretended that I happened to be there and I was leaving because I'm sending my sister to the airport (which was true).
Gave her a hug, said goodbye then left.

She later called me a liar. LOL
In a good way la.
I didn't tell her the whole truth. =X

Went to Big Hug Burgers in SS15 Subang Jaya.
It should be renamed "Big waste of time" because we waited 1 hour for 10 numbers.
And the burger is not that great.
"Big disappointment Burger"

And this ladies and gentlemen,
is how much I love Nando's.

Did you know they have delivery service?
Check the menu at the website (you need flash for that)
or call 1300886555

I have the number under "favourites".
Because... when I'm lazy and feel like eating some nicely grilled chicken,
they are who I call.

So that's mostly what happened in Movember that I haven't talked about in my previous posts.
Follow me on Dayre for more updates!!

Sunday and Something About Urbanscapes

Thanks to Nuffnang and Tigerbeer,
I went to Urbanscapes for the first time.

This post isn't really focused on Urbanscapes, so sorry if you came for that. =p

Hi!
We arrived there around 4.30pm, and the weather was perfect.
Not too sunny, with wind!

First time I walked in the fields of UPM, and it's beautiful.
LOOK AT THIS!

Now, look at me!

And look at us!

Took quite a few pictures, but this one,
this one that doesn't show much is my favourite.

The fields were so nice a lot of people were just sitting and lying on the grass.

Perfect place for a Bollywood style shoot.
*roll roll roll*

There was a photography contest exhibition.
Sho colourful!

Since we were waiting for some of the acts,
we sat on the grass for quite a long time.

A very long time.

Actorlympics was definitely worth the time and itch from sitting on the grass.
They had a few different segments,
and all of them had us literally on the floor, laughing.
Because... we were sitting on the floor.

Another way of taking pictures. LOL

We walked around and shopped at the stalls,
and walked into this place once.
It's a stage/ beer station.
When we got to the stage, the band that was playing was playing their final song.
It was good, but they never told us who they are.
#imnothipsterenoughtoknowthem

Two Door Cinema Club didn't show up,
so the stage was empty for awhile.
There were still a group of people standing in front of the stage as if they were there though.
Songs were playing.

Aaaand finally,
Fraz Ferdinand.

They worked the crowd.
Great sing-along to a few songs!!
Seriously,
Urbanscapes was like a 2 day build-up for the Franz Ferdinand concert.

The crowd was massive.
We were standing quite near the stage,
and the best way to describe it is that
if they asked us to do a wave,
it would be one really beautiful human wave.

It was a great experience,
and I can't remember the last time I spent a few hours just sitting on the grass,
doing nothing.

Time well spent. =P

Again,
so much thanks to Tigerbeer Malaysia and Nuffnang.

That's what J_Fish has to say~ Au Revoir~
