The Runaways

Well, 

we're not a band.

We were juz a group of ppl

who ran away from our lives

for 3 days.

Tioman is the name,

and Fun is the game.

(plus tanning.. --________--lll)

some of the pictures are taken by us,

some are from google.

So,

our initial plan was to go to Redang or Perhentian

(both islands in Malaysia if you don't know)

We settled for Tioman in the end.

It's in Johor.

First time I went there.

Our room number, (Standard Chalet)

Where Selina, Shiah, Jason and I shared.

Voon, Susan, Ming and Natalie's room is juz next door.

with fishes and some other living things....

*thum thum thum*

as for what does "other living things" mean

you'll juz have to find out by yourselves.

The first thing we did after checking in,

Change and jump into the sea!!!

Was in the water most of the time

so didn't take pictures.

What I can say is,

the corals are really nice.

But we have to pay extra to see the really nice ones.

the marine park was disappointing.

Nothing much to see there.

when we went to the other islands by speedboat,

the deep blue made me scared.

I always love to look at the sea,

but am very scared to be in it.

It's so mysterious 

we can't really know what is down there.

another thing,

I'm terrified of fishes.

So when we went snorkelling,

all I can say is

"Go AWAY!!!"

ppl wanna see fishes but i ask them to go away.

I juz wanna see them from afar.

that's good enough for me.

The food at the resort was great.

Buffet style.

They do refill the food,

so it's ok to go late(r).

Loved the breakfast most.

Western style.

They even have a counter to fry the eggs in any form you like.

We had lots of Ramli's burger and ais kacang which was great 

under the burning sun.

The ferry was late for more than an hour.

so we waited

we had more waiting to do.

Overall,

It was awesome.

Because of the runaway

because of the sea,

because of the beaches

because of the corals and fishes

because of the sun

because of the food

and most of all

Because of the awesome people I went with.

LOVE is the word.

All of us are so tanned now.

Sun kissed skin so hot we'll melt your pop sickles ohohohohohoh ohohohoh~~

p.s. 

the only down side of Tioman is that there is NO nightlife.

HOLIDAYS!!!

(so miss this)

it's basketball season so bye bye nails. 

again.

The buffet dinner (I think)

at the Paya Beach Resort, Tioman.

the food there's really nice. 

will blog about the trip later.

And of course,

camwhored all the way.

On top of that,

got a few new things in my life.

new shoes,

new bangle,

new anklet,

new hairdo,

new hair colour,

and so on.

but before the holidays end,

i still have one very important thing to do...

finish my homework.

10 minutes in front of the sink

It's interesting what kind of people you see 
just sitting there at McD for 10 minutes.


Went to Midvalley with Jason to get supplies for Tioman. (YEAH BABY!!)
Had lunch at McD.
It was almost 3 and still it was crowded.


We stood around for about 5 mins and finally someone left.
I had to sit there while he went to get the food.


It was a table for 4,
right in front of the sink.


The best time to observe people is when you're waiting.


So,
I saw this girl who squeezed (?) the soap from the dispenser like there was no tomorrow.
Have no idea why would she need so much soap.
The worst thing
is she only used that to wash 1 hand.
Somehow she managed to keep the other hand totally clean.
(or she wants to keep it dirty).


Then there was this girl
who squeezed the amount of soap 
enough to wash her whole body.
WTF.


I guess they have the mind set that if it's free
they can use however much they wanted to.
I doubt they use so much soap to wash their hands at home.
Maybe they don't even use soap to wash their hands at home.


Then there was this guy who watered the plants on the sink.
How nice of him.


The people who sat behind me didn't bring their brains out.
There was a tray with the stuff the previous people left behind
when they came with their own trays of food.
My table was cleaned.
And you know what one of them did?
They just left the tray on my table.
WTF.


If you leave the dirty tray on a table with no one that's still ok.
(you can always drop the tray where it's supposed to be in the first place.)
but I was sitting there 
and she left the tray there like it was nobody's business.
Would you do that?


and there was this guy who came over and just took a chair
from my table.
Didn't even bothered to ask if anyone would need it.


If you do this to,
please don't.
How hard is it to ask?
Open your mouth.
Keeping it closed for too long causes bad breath.
Serious.

Somehow,
the girls at The Face Shop never really treated me nice.
Do they always hire bitches in all their outlets that I've been to?
How can you be snobbish when your job is to serve?
