The "reunion"

Last Friday was 4th CC's "reunion" dinner.




It's not really a reunion dinner since everyone stays at the same college.
It's a chance for everyone to meet up.
So it's actually a see-every-junior-and-senior dinner.
Seriously I don't know a lot of the juniors....


Just a few seniors who've left college came back.
To them,
it was really a reunion dinner.


I feel old. T--------------T
Or the juniors are just to energetic. (a.k.a obnoxiously noisy)
I seriously can't stand noisy people.

We waited on the bus for about an hour. wth.
Just hate people who can't plan their time.
It's fine to be late for 10 or 15mins.
This is Malaysia. 
Everyone is kiasu too.
Because everyone is late you have to be late----r.
It's a race of being the latest. 
Only in Malaysia I guess.
It's a stupid culture I'd say.


Come on.
It's a vicious cycle.
Because everyone will be late,
so you get here later
and people know that others will be later than them
so they come later.
wth.


Grace period 10-15mins,
being late for 30-45 mins is just incredible.
If I were the people in-charge I'd do 2 things,
1. Call them until their phones run out of battery
2. Get the bus moving as planned and not wait for the bitches.
Let them learn their lesson the hard way.




Anyway,
we went to Summer BBQ and Buffet at Sunway.
It's right opposite "yuan" if you know where that is.


The food there was so-so,
but quite a lot of seafood la.
Those clam-shelly type.

We had an "awards" session.

I got 3 awards.
1. Most "yeng" female senior. (I don't know how to translate that into English. I don't think there's a word for it.... Coolest?) 
2. Manliest female senior. Ya sure. Just coz I have short hair.... I never got this b4 pun...


and last but not least,


3. the most wtf award.Not. 


It's the most unlike Chinese award. WTF right.....
I am totally Chinese ok....


Just because my hair is reddish and I wear blue contacts (and I'm tanned) doesn't make me look like other race. >____________<

I went for a 5km charity run this morning.
I think it's less than 5km but I took about 30mins to complete.

It's obvious that I don't have my stamina anymore.
I'd like to call it the facebook syndrome.
Facebook too much and you'll get a fat ass and no stamina.

平时习惯早睡早起，
另一半却是夜猫子。


婚姻，
不是儿戏。
是真的。

结婚后一切所有问题，
都要一起解决，
无论用什么方式都好。
如果严重的解决不了，
离婚。

现在的离婚率比以前高太多了，
因为人们都在婚后才发现
我没办法接受他的某某习惯。
却又没办法解决这个问题，
两人都没办法让步。


我知道我没有办法放下我自己的关念。
因为我野蛮。
故，
我不想结婚，
也不想恋爱了。
自己不伤之余，
也不伤别人。

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!!!!!
Well,
in advance anyway.


I curled my hair here
and I totally LOVE it!!
I prefer curls than straight hair ever since I give a darn about how I look.


But now with short hair,
the curls stay in tact longer than when I had long hair.

When I had long hair 
my hair would straighten approximately 10mins after I curl them.
Meaning when I finish curling the other side
the side that's already curled is already straight. wth...


Stubborn straight hair is never nice.


My dad said I look better with curls.
Coz of this photo below.

I was wearing my wig.
They're both me.

The photographer is really good at editing right?


Even from this far away you can see the "drain" of my apple chin (on the long hair me). wtf...


Anyway,
he (dad) said I should curl my hair when I have long hair....
[coz my hair is very flat when I had long straight hair]
which is like in 5 years' time?
I dun think I'm gonna let it grow long.
Wanna stick to my short hair.
Coz I look cute with short and curly hair.
=P


Finally,
back to the [main] topic!!


Valentine's day.
Valentine's day was originally not a celebration,
like all other celebrations.
It was to remember a person called St. Valentine.
Of course the "st" was given after he died.


The phrase "your Valentine"
actually is from st. Valentine to a woman he loved.
He signed a letter he wrote in jail to the woman with
: From your Valentine,


which means: 
My name is Valentine,
I'm yours, so I'm your Valentine.


Every year,
People around the world
[except strict Malaysian Muslims]
celebrate Valentine's day with their loved one.
One as in SINGULAR.


Well some have plural but wth, whatever.


Every year,
on this very special day,
I celebrate....


MY MOM'S BIRTHDAY!!


Yes,
my mom's birthday is on Valentine's day.
So,
to me,
14 of February is special,
NOT because of lovers,
but because of my mom.


Another reason V day has been just another day throughout the past 23 years of my life,
is I never had a bf to celebrate it with. wtf...


So,
for the years that I'm away from my mom,
14 February is totally just another day.


Unless this year someone decides to ask me out. 
XD

I have some problems with the person in-charge,
but I think things are gonna turn out fine.


I bought them from a Chinese website.
Chinese meaning website that sells things in China.
It was a very good bargain~


If anyone wants to get stuff from taobao.com,
[the whole website's in mandarin by the way]
ask me.


You can't ask the seller to send them over from China,
coz DHL is gonna cost you RM200++ [per KG I think.]


You have to send it to somewhere where they transfer the stock and 
send it over at a way cheaper price.

Moulin Rouge (2001)

The sad love story 

of a courtesan and a penniless writer

Moulin Rouge means

the Red Windmill.

Set in 1899,

Christian (Ewan McGregor), a young penniless writer

travels to Paris

to write about love.

The problem is,

he's never been in love before.

After some unusual situations,

he met a group of people

who persuaded him to go to the Moulin Rouge,

to meet with the diamond of the nightclub,

Satinne (Nicole Kidman).

He meets her and they fall in love,

but unknown to Christian,

Satinne has been booked by a duke.

They fools the duke into sponsoring them

for a play and transforming the Moulin Rouge into a theater,

Satinne and the lead actress.

The duke agrees

and their work start.

Meeting under the idea of script discussion,

Christian and Satinne secretly pours out their love to each other.

At the end of the movie,

their play "spectacular-spectacular"

which is actually about their forbidden love

is a great success,

but.....

You can more or less guess the ending 

going through the film

but what I like about the show,

is the singing and dancing. 

Especially one of the songs somewhere near the ending of the movie.

Where the Argentinian sang his song. 

If you love movies with lots of colours,

singing and dancing,

and a very sad love story,

you have to watch this.

p.s. Since it's a story based in a nightclub,

please be sensible enough to expect revealing clothing

and "unappealing" body gestures.
