Hair problems

So,
if you see me often enough,
you'll know that my hair changes a lot.

If you don't,
here's a collection of my hairstyles

since 2 years ago,
starting with the lowest on the right- the long hair,
and work your way up to the top left, the also long hair.

I cut my hair after 2 years of long hair.

I still have pictures with long hair
because I miss my long hair so much
I wasted money on wigs and clip on extensions.

Then here's a collection of hairstyles since Last September!!
Starting from the top right down to the bottom left.

From straight to curly and back to straight.
I change my look a lot
because life by itself for me
is boring like crazy,
so I try different styles to see if they look nice.

Anyway,
not that I'm done with curly hair,
I've decided to straighten it.

This was taken yesterday.
I went to the saloon to trim my ends,
and I keep complaining about how many problems my curly hair gave me.

So the guy helped me straighten it a little and that was how I looked.

I think it looks way better than my curly/wavy hair which is very hard to look nice in.
I've been tying it up most of the time.

The sad part is,
if I tie it up as a pony tail,
it looks like the tail of a crow, being black and sticking out at the back and all.

I saw this deal on Groupon

And I bought it after thinking about it for 2 hours.
It was still an impulse buy.
I wanted long hair again so badly.

RM99 includes 30 bundles or hair.

It was an impulse buy because
I didn't even check where the saloon was.
But I was happy to find out that the saloon
was really near my place.

So no transportation problem for now.

Well  I still had a lot of questions running around,
so I called the saloon and asked.

Here's what I got.

How long is the extentions?
It's waist length. Well I guess it depends on how tall you are. It would probably be knee length for midgets. and boob length for very tall people.

What is the colour?
The colour is dark brown. Like how uncoloured Asian hair looks.
Since my hair is black/very dark brown now, I don't need to pay extra to colour the extentions.

What can't I do after the extensions?
Nothing. The hair is real hair. So you can dye it and curl it.

How long does it take?
30 bundles would talk about 1.5 hours.

What if the bundles fall off?
RM1 will be charged to put them back on. Like maintenance fee.
You have to collect your hair though. =/

Well everything sounded ok.
RM99 was a fair price. I bought time with money in a way.

Then the biggest question is:

Will 30 bundles be enough?
The answer is no.

If you have little hair originally,
30 bundles might be enough,
but for normal hair volume,
30 is not enough.

We have to pay RM5 each for extra bundles,
which means the price could go much much higher.

They guy say that we might even need 60 bundles for the hair to look more natural.
=/

Impulse buy I told you.
I felt cheated,
but it was my fault for not finding out before hand.

Well I'm actually prepared to pay more
because he said if we need 30 extra bundles,
he'll still charge RM99 for the extra 30.

I hope even if I don't need 30 more,
I get to keep the extra and he can charge me RM99.

Because if you calculate it,
RM5 for each extra bundle x 20 = RM100 already.
So if I only needed 20 more I'll be paying more than 30 bundle.
WTF right?

Anyway,
I can't wait to see what happens.

Is a peace rally the right thing to do?

So I was talking to someone
and he said he wanted to go to Bersih 3.0.

It's a peace rally,
No chaos should take place.
Only "quiet" protest of the unhappy people.

"Quiet" because well come on,
if there were 100 people in a place that place can hardly be quiet.
I believe there will be n times more than 100 people there.

Bersih 2.0 was supposed to be a peace rally too.
We all know how that turned out.
Blame the people who were violent?
Well can you stop them?

We see what happened to the students who camped at Dataran Merdeka.

I don't think a rally is a good idea.
It never ends well.
I hear people say that only here
will peace rallies end with attacks.

They obviously don't watch or read the news of the world.


I understand that this rally
is to show that the people are uniting.
They are feeling threatened.

But do you think
the people to whom you are trying to "share" your thought to
doesn't already know?

We see so many posts about how they "reportedly"
cause problems and waste money on Facebook.

Do you think they don't know that you are unhappy about that?

Someone in that position will surely be smart enough to know.

People will get hurt.

How do you control who joins the rally?
There might be under-aged people amongst you.

They are influenced by what they see on Facebook,
what they hear.

Do you think they think and process what they hear?
Do you think they ponder and find both sides to a story?
Do you think they tell their parents before they go on a rally?
Do you think all of them go because of their own will?


Some of them might.

How do you know those who don't are not amongst you in the rally?

I think some people join the rally because of peer pressure.
It might sound crazy to you,
but peer pressure is a very powerful force.

If it can cause people to have sex because all their friends have,
if it can cause people to smart smoking because they friend tease them,
why do you think peer pressure won't act again?

You might just be sitting next to a 17 year old,
not old enough to vote,
not mature enough to decide,
just angry
because of what he/she read.

Who should be blamed
if the rally turns ugly
and the teenager is hurt?

The parents?
Or the people who persuade them directly or indirectly?

I'm writing this without political bias.

I'm not trying to persuade you
to vote for anyone.

I'm not trying to say that you shouldn't show how you feel,

But here's something to think about.

The best way to attack anyone
is when they're not prepared.

Show your support to whomever you want,

but if you want to stop someone,

do it silently

so that they won't know what's coming.

Kiss Me and The Truck

This is NOT an open invitation to kiss me.

Last Saturday I had the privilege
to be part of a make over
by Kiss Me,
a brand of cosmetics from Japan.

Well
since it's a make over,
I thought it would be logical to go without make up.

And I looked so stupid

because some other girls came with full make up on.

The awesome thing about the make over

is that it happens in the back a truck.

Yup.
You read right ppl.
A truck.

A pink truck to be exact.

Well,
the idea is probably girls who love make up love pink too.
Everyone there was like
"OMG it's so cute!!" "It's pink!"

I'm like "Noooooooo. Why pink?"

It looks super princessy.

After a little briefing and waiting,
we were released into the truck.

I'm actually a "secret" fake eyelash freak fan.

I tried hard to keep my purse in my bag.

I find these interesting coz I never seen them before.
Heard of them, but never seen them.

They're eyebrow dye.
=D

So
instead of drawing on your eyebrows
you paint them.
=D
More like brush them.

The applicator is like a mascara wand,
just fatter.

Look at all those stuff!!

I really tried really hard not to buy anything. T^T

But they keep calling my name.
It was like a choir.

They gave another briefing on the truck and the roadshow.

So the truck is actually their Kiss Me Make Up Station.

Everyone can just walk in and have a make over
by their make up artist using their products.

We were lucky that day
because we had a make up artist flown in from Japan. =D

I usually don't like it when people do my make up,
because my face is not the "usual".
They usually fail,
no matter how good they are,

but this woman did a great job. =D
For the first time
I was happy with the make up done by someone other than me.

This is actually how I looked like after the make over.
Damn you, blurry camera!! T^T

The experience was great and I felt really lucky
and happy for the whole day. XD

So,
I think everyone would have imagined that they could become
a super hero,
either when they were a kid,
or they still do.

Well I still do.

Especially when The Avengers is coming to our cinemas soon.

I want to save the world.
Literally.

Save the world from pollution.

MEET MY SUPERHERO IDENTITY.

 Captain Wonder Planet

It's lame because I want to be the hot version of Captain Planet.
So I stole Wonder Woman's "Wonder".
*cough*boobs*cough*

How I'm going to grow green long hair and bigger boobs when I turn into a superhero
I have yet to figure out.
But IT WILL HAPPEN!!

No mask is needed coz I don't have green long hair or boobs that big.

So I'm basically Captain Planet with long hair *cough*and big boobs*cough*

The dress would be dark green with blue lining.

If you don't know who Captain Planet is,
you're either old,
or very young.

There.

So what can Captain Wonder Planet do?

Well,
since from the drawings you can see
she wears a low cut short dress.

As you would probably have noticed,
most of the bad guys are dudes.

You know what controls men best?

Wonder woman's wonder.

Anyway,
If you can see
on your left side in the picture,
Captain Wonder Planet carries some ropes.

Not.

It is a whip.

One of the reason that Wonder Woman was used as a muse *it rhymes*
was because of my love for whips.

I know she doesn't use a whip,
but it look and sometimes works as one.

I even have a whip app on my phone.

You flick the phone and it gives out a whip sound.

If Captain Wonder Planet's
boobs doesn't do the job
of convincing the baddies to stop littering,
she'll whip them
and go all dominatrix over them.

Pick those garbage up you bad boy!!

Although she's a savior of the planet
by stopping people from polluting it,

A story for a song

She sat in the office.
She always has her mailbox browser opened,
She always start working as soon as she gets the mail.
She always finished her work so fast,
She always regrets it
because she's always bored once she finishes her work.

but
she always repeats the cycle.

Now she's waiting for some new work to turn up in her mail,
thoughts just crept up to her.

She's upset
because so many times
he left her waiting for a reply.

So many times,
other things have been more important.

She wonders if he's really ready for this.

Then in her head, a little voice said:
"You're becoming greedy, girl.

First you wanted someone to love,
then you wanted someone who loves you,

now you want more?"

"No."
She answered back.

"All I want is someone who doesn't have a life,
like me,
so we can have a life together."

A message popped up
and she smiled.

He made her sad and frustrated at times,
but when she sees him,
her eyes disappear behind her smile.
