DIY T-Shirt Into Dress!! (No cutting/sewing)

The victim.

If you look closely,
you can see that the T-Shirt has feet.
*dum dum dum*

So,
like the title clearly states,
I shall teach

How to transform a huge T-Shirt into a dress without cutting nor sewing.

If you have your ex-bf's utmost favourite T-Shirt lying around,
don't just dump it,
and DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT GIVING IT BACK.

Here's a great way to recycle it!!
GO GREEN!!

Sadly,
this is my own T-Shirt.

So this is how I look in the huge ass T-Shirt.
It's an XL. I wear S.

Step 1:
Pull your hands out of the sleeves,
and pull the collar down to just covering your chest area.

I know some of you think that you might not fit in,
give it a try first.
The collars are quite stretchable.
If you still can't fit,
well....
read on to show moral support?
=D

Or get a T-Shirt with a wider collar.=X

Step 2:
fold the middle part up a little (if it's too long, or has a logo like mine)
and align the top part with the collar.

If you're short and the T-Shirt is very long, fold more,
if you're average and the T-Shirt is slightly long, fold less,
if it's the correct length, fold juuuuuuuuuuuuuuust a little bit.
if you're tall and/or have long legs, I hate you.

Step 3:
Grab one of the sleeves,
and pull it as far to the other side as possible without rotating the T-Shirt.

Fold the bottom corner of the sleeve upwards,

And tuck it into the collar.

Now do the same for the other sleeve.

And voila!! You've got a not bad looking dress!!!

You can wear a belt too.

Or just match it with accessories.

See.
It's very simple.
=D

If you don't have an over-sized T-Shirt lying around,
Carrefour use to sell men's T-Shirts for around RM4 per piece.
(Not sure if they still have it now)

Btw,

Try around with the folding and tucking of the sleeves and parts of the T-Shirt to get different effects.

Since it doesn't require cutting, you can retry again and again for different designs!! =)
Have fun!!

Any guys who usually wear L/XL and has unwanted T-Shirts
which are still in good condition but you don't wear it,
feel free to donate it to me. =p

That's what J_Fish has to say~ Au Revoir~

The bazaar in the mall

So
I went to a bazaar in 1st Subang Mall in SS15 Subang (duh) with Caroline.

There were around 15 stalls that sold a variety of items,
from clothes to books,
accessories to gadgets.

We went around the bazaar and thoroughly combed through all the (clothing and accessory) stalls
with much pleasure.
Shopaholics on the loose!!!

One of the accessories which caught my attention. Didn't buy it in the end.

But the firs thing I bought was actually a book. *cue "unexpected facial expression"*
"G is for Gumshoe" was quite interesting, until the ending, which was disappointing.
I got it for RM5 from a second hand book stall!!
It's cheap entertainment. =p

The clothes there were more towards Korean and Taiwanese style,
and we were spoiled with choices for accessories!!
I got 2 pairs of cute earrings there for RM10.

They see us rollin, they snappin

So many pretty things, so little money.

Got my first ever mustard colour top there too. =D

Not only that,
we went for brunch at Sherlyn's Little Dream.

Ok, so I have a dream of owning my own cafe too,
but this is not mine.
See, there's one less "N" in the name. =X
 EAT ALL THE CAKE!!

Doesn't matter, the cake tastes super nice!!
Very thick, chocolaty brownie!!!
It's a good place to just sit, eat brownie and drink tea. *likeataitai*

*warning*
Next part contains picture that will make you drool,
scroll past super fast if hungry.

To further fill up our stomach,
we were later served with great food from Coffee Signature.

Most of the bloggers wanted to get the Hello Kitty coffee art on their coffee.
But I was happy with mine.
Meet the bear fox.

and I killed Mr Bear Fox and made my own coffee art.
I call it "Stick and butt crack"

We even got the chance to go on manicure session.
Being me, I chose purple with slight glitter.
But unlike the other manicurist who were usually chatty,
I think mine was having a bad day so I just sat there and pretended to be a princess on a throne chair while a girl did my nails. Awkward can.

I present to you: My throne.

Doesn't matter, had nice manicure!!

We had a great time at 1st Subang Mall,
thanks to the bazaar and shops there!!

We even went for a facial session there the next week.
Literally stuck gold to our faces. =p

So, anyone up for another pampering session there? =D

Why I say:"Patience is important"

When someone asks what is the most important trade you would like to find in your future spouse,
instead of "money" and "good looks" (though they're on my list)
the first thing I would say now is "patience".

So,
after reading Fourfeetnine's blogpost I decided to explain why "Patience (and tolerance) is important".

Patience for blurness and lameness to be exact.

Yesterday was a fairly good example of my blurness+lameness.
Within the short time span of 3 hours I was able to give myself a few mental facepalms.

First mental facepalm: Blurness
Went to have dinner, and walked out of restaurant only to turn around and realize that friend is missing.
Realize I haven't paid the bill and friend is paying.
I swear it wasn't a plan to get him to pay. --____________--lll

Second mental facepalm: Lameness
Went to Sasa because they have a clearance sale.
Convinced myself I don't need to buy anything. (Sucesskid.jpg)
Walk out and friend jokingly said:"You stole something right."
I said:"I don't steal..."..."Except hearts".

After that I spend the next 10 seconds trying not to laugh at myself for being lame and at the same time did the "Oh God why" face in my mind.

Third mental facepalm: Blurness +1
We went for watch Hotel Transylvania and had to surrender our phones before going into the cinema because it's a premier screening.
They even scanned us with a wand before going into the cinema. (Seriously?)
I sneaked 2 cameras in anyway. I'm a Badass.
Tadaaaa~

After the movie I almost walked into friend because he turned and I walked straight.
I wanted to tell him that that's the shorter way down.

Then he pointed out that we have to collect our phones.

I think he secretly wondered how much dumber I can get.

You see, an impatient guy would probably give up after a few of these "incidents".
Why would someone want to spend the rest of their lives being the one who must be responsible right?

It might be funny and "cute"
for the first few times
(I have no idea how being dumb is cute)

But after awhile it gets frustrating and annoying.

Can you imagine how many times I would have to get a new phone or get yelled at by a shop keeper for not paying the bill? --____________--lll
Can you imagine the humility if you were walking with me and suddenly get yelled at?

See, I have legit reasons when I say that special someone has to be patient.
It's not because guys should tolerate girls.
More like because this girl comes with a "handle with patience" sticker.

Well other than that, my temper would be why I need a patient dude too. =X

That's what J_Fish has to say~ Au Revoir

p.s. Hotel Transylvania is REALLY FUNNY!!!! GO WATCH GO WATCH GO WATCH!!!

Ready to partay with DG and DG?

What would you do,
if I say you can win tickets to see David Guetta?

The last time I was at a concert in Sepang was
Heineken Thirst, featuring Tiesto.
First time to such a party,
and I work a black dress with heels.

So, well, now I'm older thus wiser, I know just what to wear to Sepang,
and for a hot concert like this, dressing light is totally a must!!

So here's what I got.

A fedora,
so I'll be prepared for rain or snow or shine
I'm short so I won't be blocking anyone.
If you're shorter than me and is standing behind me,
tell me and I'll let you stand in front.

Colourful make up.
No, my usual boring, black liner only is not going to be good enough.
Swipe on some colours and bring on the fun!!!

An awesome temporary tattoo (which would be better than this one)

Time to party with David Guetta and DiGi!!!

And of course a small bag to put my what-nots.
I'm gonna wear a light weight shirt so that if it's cold, I can unroll my sleeves,
if it's hot, I can roll them up or take it off and do my tie-around magic,
and make it into a mini dress.

Black leather shorts for the fashion and comfort.
Black, the universal colour of
wear-in-case-need-of-sitting-on-floor-occurs.

If you're wondering how could you get FREE (yes, FREE) tickets.
Here's how.

From 5th – 30th September, SMS DG to 2016 to purchase the DJ CallerTunes package of 10 songs (Without You featuring Usher, Titanium featuring Sia, among others) at RM1 per week and subscribe to *DiGiMusic Pluz at RM5 per month.
Also, from the 14th September to 5th October, sign-up for the prepaid cash card, #DiGi Simple MasterCard at selected DiGi Stores in the Klang Valley or during DiGi roadshows at selected local universities for immediate redemption of 1 ticket per application. Existing cardholders who recommend three (3) friends to sign-up in a single visit will each receive FREE tickets, while stocks last. Terms & conditions apply for both.
By the way, if you're a DiGi Super Blogger of Nuffnang, you could blog about this with details here
Can't wait to be there!!!

Hope I can get the tickets so I can ask the cute guy out without having to make up excuses. I suck at making excuses...
*fingers crossed*

The lizard-ish skin

Hey!! I'm back with yet another lazy tutorial. YAY!!

Was suppose to go karaoke today,
but plan failed.
Seems like I do tutorials everytime my plan fails.

Lifeless.

Anyway,
thetutorial is to create a scaly look.

The stuff that I used:

Clockwise from 12:
Purple eyeshadow
Garnier BB Cream/ tinted moisturizer
Green palette from Sephora's makeup kit
Red/Brown palette from Sephora's makeup kit
White eyeliner from Maybelline
Eyeshadow brush (Laura Mercier)
Ettusaid golden eyeshadow

And my awesome face of course. =D

The steps are quite easy,
but it takes times and patience
(like the other looks)

1. Apply BB cream/ foundation
2. Draw numerous conjoint butts on your face
with the white eyeliner

Here's a better view/ version of the conjoint butts that I drew.

They don't have to be in a consistent sequence.
Be random.

3. Swipe on a thin layer of golden eyeshadow on the butts.

So it's not obvious.
If you observe the hand below,
you'll see that it's slightly shimmery.

4. Dab some brown eyeshadow
(as pointed by the brush) with the brush

and lightly press on the butts,
and slightly pull the brush upwards.
Refer to the pic below.

See what I mean?
Press the tip of the brush down,
and lightly lift it upwards,
so that the eyeshadow will fade upwards.

5. Add the light green on top of the faded part of brown.

Just lightly tap it on top of the faded part of brown.
Don't mix them up.

6.Apply dark green shadow from the green palette
+
7. Apply dark purple eyeshadow below the eyes.

And voila!!

The purple under the eyes is a good way to hide dark eye circles by the way. =X

Of course you can play around with the colours,
or the shape of the scales.
Like this one below is more condensed and they all stick together.
The tone is greener too.

And this one has looser conjoint butts,
and a different way of applying eyeshadow.

So have fun with it.

Don't be afraid to experiment and find your own way
and try it with your favourite colour maybe.

That's what J_Fish has to say~ Au Revoir~
p.s. Do comment. I didn't even try to be funny in this post.
Just straight forward tutorial. Tell if you prefer the almost funny versions or this one. =)

Oooh, and if either The Scars and The Joker post hits 300 views, I'll do a Captain Jack Sparrow-ish look. =D So do check them out. Only if you haven't.
