Hot Air Balloon Festival 2012

Before I start,
If you're lazy to read till the end,
my conclusion is

GO IN THE MORNING.

Wake up early,
get there early if you want to get a ride on the hot air balloons.

It's worth it to wake up early for it.

Read on for the reason
that cause me to come to this conclusion.

First,

Oh look.
=D

Fedora and t-shirt,
likeatourist.

I have to explain something.
I was down with
Click to be led to wiki.

Anyways,
I recovered from it,
which you will read more about in my next post.
Dum Dum Dum.

But what better way to test my balance
than to take public transport.
=D

So here.

I guess I don't have to rant about no having my own transport. =/

KLIA transit is available for those
who are nearer to KL central and dun have your own transport.

Tell the counter person "putrajaya"
and hand them a RM10.
And you'll be given back a RM0.50 (and a smile if you're cute. *wink*)

Trust me,
I know.

 Ma bitches yo!!
Only I can call them bitches.
If you do,
you're gonna get slapped by yours truly.

The train from KL Central to Putrajaya took about 15 mins.
No one timed it,
so well that's about the time.

When you get there,
you'll have to look for the bus station.

We took bus 701,
but I think other buses go there to.
It's like Rome.

You can take the RM0.50 that you got from the previous ticket
and give it to the bus driver
(along with the smile if you want to).
Because that's how much it costs to get there.

That was the first and only balloon we saw when we got there.
We were all confused and giant question marks over head.
Because

WHERE ARE THE BALLOONS??

Turns out that the hot air balloons needs rest too.
Too much hot air around and in them just don't work.
They need a difference of 75 degrees Celsius (that's what I heard)
between the outside and inside air to fly.

I knew that there were 2 balloon riding sessions,
but I didn't know that the balloons will be down
between the sessions,
coz I thought they'll be there on display or something like that.

So well,
we walked around the bazaar looking place in pic below.

Had to blur out the faces because the girls was making an odd face
and if she sees it she's probably going to flip.

We saw pictures of balloons at least.
=D

One more reason to go there early.

After walking around
and waiting for 5.30pm which is the second session
for balloon riding,
we decided to sit in this beautiful gondola
and have our afternoon tea

if it hadn't evaporate before we could sip it.

There are actually a lot of activities around.
You can be creative with your time,
if you decide to stay there
and see how long you can stay under the sun before you evaporate.

And while walking around,
we were all part time models for Cocoro,
my female bitch.

Well,
scroll up to look for the photo if you dunno who or what I mean.

She took loads of nice pics,
which are still resting in her cam.
I doubt they're gonna go up soon,
coz UM line sucks.

Anyway,
we had fun guy watching,
hottie spotting,
kid bullying,
bubble pumping
and free drink grabbing.
=D

Free freeflow Mountain Dew!!

WOHOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Well thanks to them,
I was hydrated
and not broke.
=D

I think I drank the whole big bottle of Mountain Dew
in a lot of small cup.
=p

Coz imagine the hot weather and a place like this,
people would want your head in exchange for a bottle of water.
And trust me,
unless you drove a water tank there,
the water you bring is not enough.

*another reason to go early*

IT'S NOT SO HOT!!!

When it was finally about 5.30p.m.,
when I say about I means after,
they started trying to assemble the balloons.
=D

We stood and squat and sat there for about an hour
and nothing happened.

And then,

 It got bigger
 and bigger
 and bigger

And that was the largest it got.
=/

And after sitting there,
sulking more,
someone noticed a balloon already in ze sky!!
=D

So we dragged our tired butts over there
and voila!!

I guess you can see the bigger small balloon in the air,
but if you look closely,
the one of the two small dots are hot air balloons that have flown away.

Up up and away!!

I just think this pic looks nice.
=p
The final balloon that we saw rising before we decide to run.

Did you know that Putrajaya looks so nice?

It's beautiful,
and well,
it's kinda nice to see that my tax money is making something beautiful.

It took quite long for the bus to arrive on the way back.
It was so packed when we were on it,
the bus had to skip stations coz it can't even open the door
to let others in.

And that was the end of the day.
=)

It was fun.

If you read till here,
you're awesome enough,
and here's a the summary + analysis as a reward,

Go early.
As early as possible
because:

a) Less traffic congestion.
People who went early would be able to find parking easier,
and they can avoid traffic when they wanna go home,
coz you can go home anytime you want.

b) Less people

So how many would go early
if they didn't know that early is better?

And a lot of people don't know
that the balloons will be down in the afternoon.

It'll also be easier to find your friends if you get lost among the not-so-crowd.
Yelling their names out loud would make them embarrassed enough to come out.

There would be more chances of joining in the activities too.
Coz they have more in the morning.

c) Less air/noise pollution.

There are a lot of smokers around.
Even when there are obviously a lot of kids, toddlers, and babies.

Smokers just don't care.

There'll be less people so less talking.
Plus,
it's too early to talk out loud.

Everyone's vocal cords are probably still warming up.

d) Less heat.

Less people and less sun rays, less heat, less frustration.
Nuff said.

CONCLUSION AGAIN,

GO IN THE MORNING!!!

And remember to
SLAP ON A LOT OF SUNBLOCK.
coz Cocoro got 3 shades darker and I'm not even exaggerating.

For more colourful pics,
you can go to FishSzeHui's Blog
=D

If you're driving there,
don't even complain for the car park and crowd,
because you saved a lot of walking.

that's what J_Fish has to say~ Au Revoir~
p.s. I'll be posting more pics by cocoro not so soon. =D

  2. But public transport is so much worse. As a person who have experienced both, I've decided that I would be stuck in traffic in the comfort of my own car than to cramp with a whole bunch of sweaty strangers in the bus. =p
