AXE Anarchy Island Getaway

How to be uncontrollably charming you ask?

Here are a few ideas,
since I'm being generously nice. *cough*

*warning*
If you still can't get friendly with the opposite sex, (or the same sex if that's your cup of tea) after following these "guidelines", it's entirely face problem.

I put myself in the shoes of dudes
to try and think like them.
(Trust me, I can think like men quite well. *le wink*)

I guess for ladies, it's quite easy.

1. Get your hair and make up done

Not too much make up because it's a turn off. Guys won't like it when you smile and powder flakes off your face. Dun use too much hair product cause guys like to run their hand through your hair. If it gets stuck somewhere in there, it's a nooooooo. If you don't like to go through the fuss, at least make yourself look clean.

2. Choose a nice outfit

Choose something that makes you feel comfortable. If you're not the revealing type, don't wear deep-V. You'll feel awkward and end up ruining your date. Wear something that you feel confident in.

Oh, remember,

3. Make yourself smell nice

Guys love it when girls smell nice. Especially the hair. (I was told)

Don't use too much perfume coz it'll kill them.
or make them faint.

Whichever comes first.

I usually just apply a dab on both wrists, behind the ears, and on the neck, and the collarbones.

Imagine leaning in to talk to the boys, and the smell just drifts over.

Or you can just spray on deodorant and keep yourself feeling fresh while still smelling good.

That's somewhat easy and would work for guys in general,
but what would make you special?

My advice comes in the form of 2 words,

4. BE VERSATILE

Not every guy likes the same kinda girl (unless you've got passion in your dress and you ain't afraid to show it show it show it...*cough*)

Well I like to try out different styles. I like it... kinky....? *shifty eyed*

Express youself in different ways. Get the attention before you get the guy.
Think of a pick-up line for every mode you go for, for example:

Seductive mode (?)

Hey honey, wanna go out and have a drink
or go somewhere for some naughty fun?

Emo style...

Three cuts means I love you darling.

The girl next door mode

Hey, I'm your neighbour
and this is crazy,
but I think you're cute
let's go out maybe?

The wide-eyed act cute girl style

OHEMGEEEE I'm actually like going cray cray over you.
Wanna go out for din din someday?
Pweety pweez?
LOL
*bat lashes*

Hipster style

I'm a bisexual, because being queer or straight is too mainstream.
But for you, I'd be all three.

If all fails,
I still have the ultimate mode left...

I call it.....

The Joey mode.

Hey, how you doin'?

Well there's also one way to keep you in their head all day long.

Sing Call me maybe to them,
or maybe Gangnam style if the dude likes to ride.
*if you know what I mean*

Ok, jokes aside,
how do I (really) turn my charm on?

It's simple.

1. I let the guy take the lead when he wants to,
2. I laugh at his jokes, and reply with similarly lame ones,
3. I throw in subtle winks at the right time,
4. I don't (usually) need a lot of attention,
5. I trust and support my man,
and
6. I keep good eye contact when talking.

Eye contact is the most important thing when you're trying to bring someone home  seduce someone get your message across,
and enough eye contact will just be the final point
of getting that man/woman.

Unless you're showing cleavage, which would be a challenge to keep their eyes contacted with yours.

Well all that seems about right, but then I'm still single...

*Note: I do not come in all modes mentioned above. The modes are merely examples.

That's what J_Fish has to say~ Au Revoir~

p.s. Hey I don't know you, and this is sad, but here's my blog post, so please send me over to the Caribbeans so that I might find a super hot, tall, dark and handsome guy among the other winners who will be going there for 4 days 3 nights!! *Plays the hula and dances the ukulele.*

A few things to get off my flats

1. Consensual or not, sex with a minor is rape.

If a national hero has sex with a minor, it's rape. That national hero should be stripped of his title and sent to jail and butt raped where he shall be careful not to drop the soap. If a person has a bright future, he/she should not put that brightness under risk and lure a minor into bed. If the person has such a bright future, it wouldn't be hard to get laid by someone who is able to make decisions without their parents having to sign a document in their stead. A nation will not be proud if the "hero" is a rapist that lures under-aged girls into bed, or anywhere else for that matter to have consensual sex.

2. Consensual sex with a minor is rape, no matter how many times you've done it before.

If a person performs sexual activities with a minor, it's rape. If every rapist is let loose because he/she is "young" and "a first time offender" then a lot of people would not be dubbed rapist.

First there was the excuse of "bright future", because he was in the national team. Then there was a drop-out, who was young. Being a 19 year old, the person should be expected to take responsibility for his actions. A 12 year old shouldn't be asked for sex.

3. Cheating

Cheating is bad because it's unfair. Cheating in exams or in relationships are equally bad. If you cheat and/or help others cheat, you should know it's bad. It might sound like "meh, we're not really hurting anyone", well talk to someone and you'll realize that you can't talk your way out. People will help you see your mistake. Talk to me if you don't believe it.

4. I get jealous when privileged girls rant/show off too much

Dear privileged girls, if you have a job, please don't rant about it everyday. I know you have the right to say anything on Twitter if you want to, but if you do it everyday, it's very annoying.

If you have someone to drive you around (e.g. a boyfriend or potential boyfriend or very generous friend or parent(s)), don't rant about traffic jams because it's stupid and very VERY annoying.

If you're really rolling on the floor in pain, but you can still tweet, it doesn't seem too bad to me. If you're enjoying life and would like the whole world to share your happiness, please, please do that in moderation because some people (I) feel jealous when they're (I'm) stuck in the office reading too many of your life-enjoying happy tweets.

If you post 5 pics (estimated) of yourself enjoying life on twitter everyday, but rant how life is unfair or how people should treat you better, you're an asshole, because God is treating your spoilt piece of ass better than a lot of starving kids. Unless you work hard for something and didn't get it, why do you think you deserve a better life than others? Because you're lucky enough to be born in a upper-middle or upper class family?

If you have the money to spend, by all means, do whatever you want with it, but don't go around calling others cheapskate for doing something you wouldn't do. Please understand that not everyone can have a good life like you do.

I would so much love to unfollow a lot of people on twitter if not because they're actually my friends.

Well of course everyone can rant once in awhile, but too much ranting is just sick.

5. On the other side of the spectrum, I have new hair colours. YAY!!

Did you see what I did there?

My hair colours? Note colours as in plural.

and so, voila.

Colour unedited. And I love how I look so fair in this picture. The top half is purple and the bottom half is red. The hairdresser actually told me these two colours when I said I wanted 2 colours. And then I got the instagram comments saying the 2 colours. =)

Well the purple is not obvious in this picture, but believe me, I have purple patches on my forehead near the roots of my hair because the hairdresser left it on for too long. If you look really close, you can see purple on the baby hair near my ear. Zoom in. Zoom in more.

When I washed my hair today I felt like a unicorn coz the water turned lilac when it ran through my hair.

6. Sometimes, I still cry when I think of him. Sometimes, I still miss him.

That's what J_Fish has to say~ Au Revoir~

Johnnie Walker Black Circuit Penang

So,
Yes, I ran all the way up to Penang for an event,
but hey,
carpe diem!! a.k.a YOLO!!

I don't know why people hate YOLO but not carpe diem.

The truth is,
I joined the Facebook contest without checking the details.
I won 4 passes from the Facebook contest.

No one I knew was going,
but Choulyin volunteered in the end,
and she arranged everything!!

She's just amazing!!
^____________^

Anyway,
I didn't go as a blogger but as a FB contest winner,
so forgive me for not taking a lot of camewhore pics.

Oh wait,

The look.

Well JJ Lin was there,
and for some reason we weren't allowed to take pics with him.

This is the best I can get.

 I'm a huge fan.

I'm actually not a big fan of JJ, but I like his songs.

Moving on.

By the time we got there,
the place was packed
and we don't have a table.

We just went in and try to see if we could bump into anyone we knew
and just "borrow" their table.

It was super packed.
Almost impossible to move around,
as you can see in the picture below.

Yet I was able to find my way to the bar.
YAY!!

Mixing the drinks babeh!!

The stage from the table we "borrowed".
could you see the cute guy at the bottom corner?
=p

This year's theme was Great Britain.
and so,
you could see men dressed up like the royal guardsmen at the entrance
which I dun have pictures of.

I suck.

We took a few drinks,
and you can guess what happened after that.

In my defence,
I drank really quickly.

Look,
I tried to take pictures of the glitter on the floor
without much knowledge of operating my camera
and not really in sober state.

And oh look, a lady wore jeans to the party.

And this is the most decent picture
I have of the group.

and here
is a less decent one,
taken while my camera was on and my finger on the shutter.
I have no idea when it was taken,
but all 3 of the gang were in there!!

My finger is a genius.

As you can observe,
Choulyin was somewhat happy.
I guess I'm somewhat entertaining when I've taken a glass too much.

Well,
about 5 days after the party,
I got a phone call asking for my address.

I was expecting the invites and tags which I didn't get before that,

 Something like this.
Tags above where from last year's event.

But instead,

when I got my package,
I found:

A cap from the team,

bubble wrap,

and a bottle of

with

Not happy with how they handled the Facebook winners.

Before the event,
all I got was a phone call telling me that I've won 4 passes.

No confirmation email,
no details,
and they've deleted the contest page.

No official invitation was sent.

I had to search through the Johnnie Walker page
to find screenshots
to find the venue and time.

HOWEVER,
the songs were great,
some of the drinks were really nice,
(one of them was really nasty,
and the alcohol in me gave me the guts to tell the waitress that. )
and I was really ready to dance,
( I don't usually dance, )
but there was barely space to move,
so forget dancing.

I enjoyed myself despite all that,
because the lot I went with was fun to hangout with. =)

Overall,
I enjoyed the party
as far as I could remember.

The aftermath was even much more fun,
for the other 3.

Thanks again guys, especially Choulyin!!

Wish ya'll can be here for the even in KL!!

Dem juices!!

It was a healthy Saturday

morning.

At least.

So I went to an event by Juice Works
last Saturday in Pavilion.

I went with an empty stomach
and when I see what was prepared there
I was glad I went hungry.

The chocolate cookie was nice!!
=D
It reminded me of the ones in subway,
but these come with a thicker chocolate flavour.

The drinks served in sample size cups were the best sellers there.

Some are juices while others are more towards smoothies.
We got to try all of them,
and get a normal size cup for our favourite.

So here are the sizes.
And the tumbler was one of the door gifts we got. =D

The event was awesome,
because normally we can't go all
curious
and take pictures of the whole place,
but that day,
I did.
=p

Their work station/kitchen
that later became our playground for 3 minutes.

We tried the drinks, the food prepared, and then we had the first game,
which I got second place.

The prize for second prize was taking a picture with the first prize winner. XD

Anyway,
after that we had a talk from the founder of Juice Works.

She explained everything from how she came up with this idea
to how the juices can help us.

Did you know that you need 5 servings of fruits per day?
Which means 5 pieces of fruits, example: one apple, one orange, one banana, etc. 5.
Since we usually do not take so much fruits per day,
the cup of juice would help,
because they combine at least 3 types of juices.

Other than educating us about the nutrition facts,
she also encourage us to make our own juice at home,
and the trick is to choose fruits with a variety of colours.

And don't just grind the juice, choose fruits with fiber too.

And after the informative talk,
she gave us a chance to make our own mixture of juices.

And we get to play in the kitchen!!
=D

The yoghurt used for smoothies.
=D
Yummy!!

This was our group's creation.

Tada~

Well we didn't win the first prize,
but we got complementary vouchers anyway!!

And last but not least,
we were served with this.

Wheat-grass juice.
It helps lower blood pressure,
and gives you great skin
if you take just one small shot everyday.

Bendan demonstrating bottoms up!!

But be careful if you already have low blood pressure,
because drinking this
will ensure you a twirly hour at the mall.

If you're someone who don't take a lot of fruits (and/or vege),
do drop by Juice Works to grab a drink when you're at the mall.
because 1 cup of that
will fill you up.

Seriously.

It's healthy and filling.

They have 12 outlets around Klang Valley,
so it's not too hard to find.

Found in major shopping malls. =p

Oh,
they have a huge list of juices to choose from,
and they refresh their menu every now and then,
so you can skip the fruits that you don't like.
=X

Ending the post with a rare
wide smile with teeth showing picture.

That's what J_Fish has to say~ Au Revoir~

p.s. The fiber really works. =X

Paranorman

It's nice. Go watch it. The End.

That's what J_Fish has to say~ Au Revoir~

Ok, just kidding,
I was mimicking a review post I read last week.
Would you believe that "It's nice and go watch it" is more helpful that that review?

I shall not point (nor flash) fingers, but try looking for "Bourne Legacy" review.

Anyway,
Paranorman is a stop-motion cartoon which talks about the adventures of a boy, Norman as he tries to stop the curse of the witch in his small town.

Norman is the freak of the town because he talks to ghosts. The people don't believe him, not even his family. And so, he gets bullied a lot. One day, his seemingly creepy uncle came to him and told him about the witch's curse on some people who use to live in the town, and that he was the only one who can stop it. And there was when the adventure starts.

I would say that this is a nice cartoon to watch, but if you're too much of a logical person, or you forgot that the cartoon is mainly targeted at kids, you're gonna have a boring time.

I enjoy the little jokes here and there that makes the movie fun to watch, but the suspense to the scary parts were great too. I almost hit the girl who came over to warn Chee Ching not to use her phone because that was the suspense part and I was prepared for the zombie to pounce. (Was very annoyed by those people.) Naturally, when a black figure suddenly shows up next to me, it did make me jump a little.

Why would you expect logic in a cartoon? *rolls eyes* It's suppose to be funny and simple enough to make children laugh yet keep the adults entertained in some way. And Paranorman did that. My inner child had a great time, and the more adult side of me was kept entertained.

The graphics were a lot softer than Coraline, you can see that the edges are more polished, and the movements flows better.

If you haven't watch Coraline, here's the trailer, and you should check it out!!

My verdict? YAY! But leave your logical thinking outside the door and don't forget to pick it up when you leave.

I loved the super minor twist in the end that really made me LOL. =)

That's what J_Fish has to say~ Au Revoir~ la deuxieme fois.

p.s. It's not worth watching in 3D.
