The lizard-ish skin

Hey!! I'm back with yet another lazy tutorial. YAY!!

Was suppose to go karaoke today,
but plan failed.
Seems like I do tutorials everytime my plan fails.

Lifeless.

Anyway,
thetutorial is to create a scaly look.

The stuff that I used:

Clockwise from 12:
Purple eyeshadow
Garnier BB Cream/ tinted moisturizer
Green palette from Sephora's makeup kit
Red/Brown palette from Sephora's makeup kit
White eyeliner from Maybelline
Eyeshadow brush (Laura Mercier)
Ettusaid golden eyeshadow

And my awesome face of course. =D

The steps are quite easy,
but it takes times and patience
(like the other looks)

1. Apply BB cream/ foundation
2. Draw numerous conjoint butts on your face
with the white eyeliner

Here's a better view/ version of the conjoint butts that I drew.

They don't have to be in a consistent sequence.
Be random.

3. Swipe on a thin layer of golden eyeshadow on the butts.

So it's not obvious.
If you observe the hand below,
you'll see that it's slightly shimmery.

4. Dab some brown eyeshadow
(as pointed by the brush) with the brush

and lightly press on the butts,
and slightly pull the brush upwards.
Refer to the pic below.

See what I mean?
Press the tip of the brush down,
and lightly lift it upwards,
so that the eyeshadow will fade upwards.

5. Add the light green on top of the faded part of brown.

Just lightly tap it on top of the faded part of brown.
Don't mix them up.

6.Apply dark green shadow from the green palette
+
7. Apply dark purple eyeshadow below the eyes.

And voila!!

The purple under the eyes is a good way to hide dark eye circles by the way. =X

Of course you can play around with the colours,
or the shape of the scales.
Like this one below is more condensed and they all stick together.
The tone is greener too.

And this one has looser conjoint butts,
and a different way of applying eyeshadow.

So have fun with it.

Don't be afraid to experiment and find your own way
and try it with your favourite colour maybe.

That's what J_Fish has to say~ Au Revoir~
p.s. Do comment. I didn't even try to be funny in this post.
Just straight forward tutorial. Tell if you prefer the almost funny versions or this one. =)

Oooh, and if either The Scars and The Joker post hits 300 views, I'll do a Captain Jack Sparrow-ish look. =D So do check them out. Only if you haven't.

The annoying Twitter

So I've switched my life from being active in Facebook to being active on Twitter.

Facebook has become too boring with all the political stuff splashed across the Newsfeed. So what if someone used photoshop to make more attendees at an event? Do people even bother to look at the pictures in the first place? I didn't even know where that picture came from if you didn't post it up. Negative publicity is publicity too... The thing about creating bad publicity when your opponent is already doing it for themselves, is that it shows how low you punch. Just shut up and take my vote.

Anyway, so I switched to Twitter.

But Twitter is getting annoying too, if you follow the wrong people, which is my case.

You know how you added your friend of Facebook, and you find out how emo or teenage drama queen he/she actually is, and you can't unfriend coz they'll be offended? It's the same thing for Twitter, but for Facebook, at least you can put that friend in a list, and he/she won't show up in your Newsfeed anymore.

I use to rant a lot on Twitter too, then I followed these Teenage Drama Queen Wanabees (who, from this point onwards will be known as TDQW) and I realize "I guess people don't need one more TDQW on Twitter, so I only post rants when I'm sick or really upset, coz well, I'm emotionally unstable when I'm sick, and I can't think straight when I'm sad.

The most overused for no reason expressions on whatever social media.

I'm irritated with people who use LOL or ROFL/LMAO when there's obviously nothing funny about the situation. I don't see how people will be happier or less irritated with your behavior when you use LOL. It's like someone is really sad, and you say something and add "LOL" at the back, and the person will miraculously feel less shitty. No, doesn't work that way.

There's so much ranting on Twitter, I wish some people would start a blog and dump all their shit there. At least people who read your blogs really care enough to click on the link and read it and comment on it.

People rant about everything on Twitter. About how their colleagues suck, about how their fairy tale life sucks, about how their parents suck, about how the weather sucks, about how their spouse sucks, about how dreadful they feel because some idiot made their day bad, etc.

If your college fees are too high, well maybe you should start working part time. If you knew your parents aren't well off enough to sustain your Chatime or Starbucks, maybe you should start drinking plain water and start working.

If your college fees are too high for your family, why the heck did you go to college? My results sucked, honestly, but I still went to public uni. Sometimes, it's the mentality. I knew my parents won't be able to afford college fees, so it's either public uni or working life. Well, glad my ass was lucky enough to land a spot in a public uni.

It's acceptable if you rant about things once in awhile, but 10 tweets a day about how your life sucks won't make it better. It makes my twitter timeline miserable. And I dun want to unfollow you because I still consider you as my friend.

So, if one day I finally unfollow you, please know that I'm sick of your constant whining. If you're offended, well please know that I've put up with your whining for long enough.

To compensate your burning, here's a pic of me, camwhoring.

Henessy Artistry 2012: Round 2

So last Saturday was the second HA of 2012.
My second time to HA too.
First time was the first one in Penang.

Well thanks to Caroline,
I got to go "release some stress".

The waiting lounge.
We waited there until they opened the hall to let us in,
but we got to drink anyway.

We were in Zone O,
which was one floor higher.
Had to climb some stairs to get there.

Sucks to be drunk when getting down. =p

I wasn't interested in the music.
So, it was quite boring for me at first.

The music didn't start to get better until after 12.
The bad thing about being upstairs
is that the sound didn't travel up to us.

But after 12,
I got loosened up
and started to enjoy and dance.

The couple who had to take care of  me.
Thanks Eric and Caroline!!!

Before the music started getting hot,
I was checking out girls with Zhao.

So many girls with skirts just long enough to cover the ass.
I bet if the guys sat with me they'd enjoy the view too.
wtf.

My favourite group picture.

Well this one is quite awesome too.
Despite being a little blur.

Met a few ppl who came all the way from Penang.
Met my highschool junior and had a nice chat.
Got to know someone better.
=)

I had quite a few glasses of berry and apple.
But I cheated.
I asked for very little alcohol. XD

By the time I was warmed up and ready to party
we had to leave already. T^T
The problem with going in someone's car...

But well,
I enjoyed myself anyway
and was really glad I went.
=)

I'll make sure I warm up sooner for the finale,
so bring it on Henessy Artistry!!
