Phone version of THE wedding... that's not mine

My sister is married!!!

On the day itself I didn't take a lot of pictures, mainly because I was standing next to her 90% of the time, and I didn't want to be holding a phone, let along taking tons of pics, so here's the phone (short) version of the wedding.

Anyways,
here's what I have on my phone. 90% of the pics are selfies... Most of them are deleted now.
So here are the rest that's left.
1 or 2 pics from the phone of others too.

First, we start with an impromptu manicure session for younger sis and I.
We were shopping in E-Curve and just decided to get our nails done.

No, Jo, you can't get green nails.

Brown + white flower and leaves

Just a tad sad that brown is my "nude".

My sister's runway, before all the decoration is up.

We stayed over at Royale Chulan Damansara since Friday.
The whole rehearsal and preparation lasted till around 12am.

Taken with Jo's wide angle phone lens.

Sister woke up at 6am to get ready.
Hair and make up done by the really friendly Corina (?)
Didn't learn how to spell her name.

I woke up around 7am.
Did my own make up. Panicked coz I'm not good with tying hair.
In the end my mom helped me tie my hair into a bun with the black spongy thing.

With the silly sister (who was half way curling her hair)

And with older silly sister

Ngawwwwwwww. So pretty!!!

The bride and her entourage

The Best Man. And dat smile.

One of the girls took this for me. I have no idea why the colour is like that.
The Best Man is getting married 2 weeks later.

The best kinda flowers. :3
 有钱花!!!
If you look closely, money!!

The wedding suit of Royale Chulan.

With 2 floors. WTF. Sorry I #jakundie
 So nice aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Vain time!

Outfit of the night. I wore a shawl over my shoulders for the actual dinner event.

Awkward smiles FTW!!

Another OOTN with very big arm candy.

I didn't get to eat the full course dinner because... my dress was too tight. *sigh*
I had 1 mushroom, 2 prawns, 2 dessert spoonful of icecream... and that's probably it.

If you're wondering why I'm wearing a kebaya for the morning, my sister married a half-Malay-half-Chinese-full-Muslim. The KL ceremony was for the groom's side, which is why everything was so Malay style with a touch of western. There was the traditional akad nikah which involves prayers. A lot of guests think that my sister looks more like a Malay and the groom is the one who's Chinese. LOOOOOOOL.

I agree.

Dinner was more towards western style so I get to wear a gown. So sad that I didn't get to take a picture of my sister in her dinner dress, because she had a really long veil (which I was in-charge of holding, like Pippa for Kate Middleton) and the dress was gorgeous.

Photo taken by Jian the arm candy

You can estimate how long the veil actually was. I was blocked by the Best Man fml. Everyone was photobombed by the photographer. Kinda.

My sister is my height and was wearing 4.5inch heels. She still looks like Bilbo standing next to Gandalf coz the husband is more than 190cm. Best Man looks the slightest bit like he was riverdancing. FHL.
"Here comes the bride and groom. Let's dance".

Not everything went as planned, but if you zoomed out, it was magical.

Asked around and apparently no one had a picture of the bride and her full gown. Everyone was too excited I guess lol. Will wait for the official photos to come out. I may or may not update when it does. My mom probably has a picture but it would take her forever to upload it. =X

Best Man gave a very nice speech with a pun win in the end. Well played man, well played.

After the dinner, I stood at the door and waved and shaked hands and smiled at the guests who were leaving like I was the bride wtf. Of course the bride and groom were there too. After all that smiling, I swear my face was numb for awhile.

Then people actually queued up to take pictures on the beautifully decorated stage with the bride and groom.
#likeCelebrities

It was tiring and I woke up feeling like I've ran a marathon. I did stand in 4 inch new heels for at least half the day. The entire process was nerve-wrecking, I kid you not. I was wearing a strapless long gown and had to walk up steps while holding my sister's veil. The entire time before that I was so scared that I would step on my own dress and give a free show, step on my sister's veil, step on her dress, accidentally kick the flowers decorating the runway and hit someone, forgetting to smile, forgetting any minor detail while I was up on stage with the couple. I did step on my dress, let the veil go, get on the runway properly, and chased after the veil to get it back lol. But now that I looked back, I was sweating the small stuff. All eyes are on the happy couple and whatever I did was actually not obvious. XD

It was definitely a whole new experience, and I loved it.

So, here's to a great start to a happy marriage to my dear sister who I have a love-hate relationship with, and the cheeky brother-in-law. May you, Syazwan take good care of her, or I will hunt you down. #Promise. =D

That's what J_Fish has to say~ Au Revoir~
